Incident Response Technologies, Inc. (IRT), a Denver-based company, is proud to announce a partnership with Pulse Aerospace, the premier developer of helicopter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) flight control technology in the United States. Pulse’s HeliSynthTM technology makes unparalleled flight control, payload, and endurance capabilities available at commercially relevant price points.
The new partnership will allow IRT to leverage the map-centric interface of its flagship Rhodium™ Incident Management Suite in the tracking and documentation of UAS activities. Data captured by the UAS will enhance the situational awareness picture for incident managers and other stakeholders. Displaying this data in Rhodium will provide emergency responders with an enhanced understanding of the incident at hand.
IRT’s Rhodium™ Incident Management Suite is a cloud-based incident management tool and is utilized by public safety, education, aviation, and industrial clients across 35 U.S. States and four countries. Rhodium’s incident management capabilities allow incident commanders to quickly review pre-plan data, view current situation status, and document actions from a user-friendly touch screen focused interface.
“Pulse is on the leading edge of the UAS movement and we see their platforms being instrumental to our public safety clients,” said Jarret Winkelman, President of IRT. “Their value proposition in flight time, payload, and stability is impressive and their willingness to adapt pricing models to meet the needs of public safety agencies puts UAS within reach for many organizations.”
Pulse Aerospace designs and manufactures the VAPOR family of UAV aircraft that marries precision flight control systems for industry leading flight times and payload capacity. The 10-year-old company works with a broad array of industries and UAS users including agriculture, mining, survey (geospatial), emergency management, energy, university, military and non-military government agencies. The company’s VAPOR systems carry a wide array of sensors, LiDARs, magtometers, and both spectral and infrared cameras. This state-of-the-art technology enables customers to collect data quickly and efficiently to make actionable decisions.
“It’s the intersection of design, technology and hardware that makes Pulse Aerospace the ideal partner for IRT,” said Aaron Lessig, Pulse Aerospace Chief Executive Officer. “Our capabilities in payload, flight time and mission precision translate to valuable improvements in incident management.”
